This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the transportation and delivery of plant and agricultural machinery purchased from us. By placing an order with JP Quinn Plant & Agri, the purchaser agrees to the terms set out in this policy.
1. Delivery Arrangements
All machinery and equipment sold by JP Quinn Plant & Agri can be delivered to the purchaser at an agreed delivery cost. Delivery charges are not included in the listed sale price unless explicitly stated and will be quoted and confirmed with the purchaser prior to dispatch.
Delivery arrangements, including transport method, delivery address, and applicable fees, will be agreed between JP Quinn Plant And Agri and the purchaser before the machinery is released for shipment.
2. Delivery Costs
Delivery costs vary depending on factors including, but not limited to:

Size and weight of the machinery

Transport requirements

Accessibility of the delivery site
A delivery quotation will be provided to the purchaser before dispatch. Delivery will only proceed once the purchaser has agreed to the delivery charges.
3. Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes may vary depending on machinery availability, location, and transport logistics.
Estimated delivery times will be communicated at the time delivery is arranged. These timeframes are provided as estimates only and JP Quinn Plant & Agri shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to transport delays, weather conditions, mechanical issues, or third-party carrier disruptions.
4. Delivery Location & Access
The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the delivery location:

Is accurate and complete

Is safely accessible for the delivery vehicle

Has adequate space and ground conditions for unloading machinery
If delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions or unsafe conditions, additional delivery or redelivery charges may apply.
5. Unloading Responsibility
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the purchaser is responsible for providing suitable equipment and personnel required to unload machinery upon delivery.
Where unloading assistance is provided by JP Quinn Plant & Agri or a contracted carrier, this will be arranged in advance and may incur additional charges.
6. Inspection Upon Delivery
The purchaser must inspect the machinery at the time of delivery.
Any visible damage, missing items, or discrepancies must be noted at the time of delivery and reported to JP Quinn Plant & Agri immediately.
7. Transfer of Risk
Risk in the machinery transfers to the purchaser upon delivery to the agreed delivery location or upon collection by the purchaser or their appointed transport provider.
8. Collection Option
Purchasers may choose to collect machinery directly from JP Quinn Plant & Agri by prior appointment. Any machinery collected becomes the responsibility of the purchaser once it has been loaded onto their transport.
9. Delays & Force Majeure
Jp Quinn Plant & Agri shall not be held liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Severe weather conditions

Transport or logistics disruptions

Industrial disputes

Mechanical failure

Government restrictions or regulatory delays
10. Policy Updates
JP Quinn Plant & Agri reserves the right to modify or update this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting.
